I'm in for some racing action in Feb. Thanks for posting that highndry. I also noticed that this Sunday's weather is looking great. Seems to get better the very next week after our attempted runs on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month. Maybe we should change our calender. I won't be able to make it this Sunday you guys have fun!!Comment

1/2 hour between heats is a long time.
we could reduce it to 15 Min. and run two rounds.
At home we use to run 8 classes, 3 rounds, (24 heats)and done by 3PM.
5 min. clock starts when the last boat is off the water from the last race.
I used to run 5 classes 3 rounds at a one day race.

30 minutes does allow for more goofing off time though. We gotta give Jim & Mike time to get their boats ready.Comment

I'm just now getting around to dusting my boats off for the 2nd Sunday in Feb! I like the idea of an actual race schedule! Just be sure all the spec classes are not back to back. Not enough batteries for that!
Just one question for HighNDry....will you REALLY be there?Mini Cat Racing USA

And perhaps the experienced racers can spend a little time w/ us rookies and give us pointers, advice etc. that way they have time to do what they need to do on race day.

I like that idea. One practice, schooling meet a month and one race a month. Makes perfect sense.
Maybe I could learn something fer goshsakes!Mini Cat Racing USA
