I can always pull the SuperSimple 100A out of Viper. It'll be no problem since I'm already having to swap that ESC from boat to boat as it is, LOL!We'll give it a real workout! Just keep in mind, you'll have to have a place for the receiver batteries in the hull as there's no BEC.
Please tell me you haven't dipped that hatch in hot pink!IMPBA: 7-Time FE World Record Holder "Don't think outside the box. Rather, refuse to admit that the box exists in the first place!"

Hey Chuck. After taking the great circle route, the 642 make it to my house today. It looks great and I cant wait to give it a spin.
My son and I took part in our first race this past weekend. The 640 ran great in the Titan. Running fuel heats in novice, all temps were in the 120's and I had plenty of battery left so the 642 should give me a little bit more speed without stressing the equiptment too much.
As for the race, we had a great time. I've realy got the bug now!!! I know we' were only racing novice/RTR with 4 entries, but we were the only FE's there and both of us have never run with more than one boat in the water. John was also the youngest driver there and we came in one, two in our first heat. It was one of those father son "priceless moments". I was very proud of my son. He did a great job running in traffic.
As for the race weekend. We had nice turnout. Not sure how many of the OD club guys showed up. Debbies RC world came with two trailers from Chesapeake. We had guys show up from Pittsburg and NY. Everyone was very nice. I peaked more than a few peoples curiosity about FE's. They were surprised I laped the entire field. Others were asking my club members why my boat was so quiet. The only negative remark I heard was actualy a gas guy whom I overheard saying during open water practice "I can't wait for these nitro guys to get off the water so we can start having fun". Funny thing is, I was later told this guy ran nothing but nitro a few years back. I guess there is always a few in every crowd. Anyhow, I hope I can talk a few of you Fembots to come up next year. Maybe we can run a P- mono and P-hydro (4S Lipo) class.
Thanks again Chuck.Attached FilesMike Chirillo

Mike I am glad it finally got there ... to bad you didn't have it for the race. Although it sounds like you guys had a blast anyway and showed those fossil fuel guys a thing or two to boot. Well done and and give your son a pat on the back from the FEMBOTS. I have been very busy lately and haven't had any time to run boats. I have had a lot of props to do and will finish up a major order this week. Here are a couple of pictures of a pair of counter rotating Propshop props cut down from 80mm to 65mm along with shortened hubs.IMPBA 20481S D-12Comment
