There's no time like the present to convert a coke bottle! I figure it won't run as well as the duck, but it has potential! I'm sorry I didn't meet you guys in time to see that thing run in person! That would have been great!
I still have a bunch of props to get out of the way and I am also waiting for a new esc for the xs2 to go with the 8XL. I hope the weather is good for the weekend as I will be able to try out the forerunner 201.
Diego - don't you have the jet boat put back together yet?
Egneg, what does the forerunner weigh with batteries?
It comes with a built in li-ion battery and weighs a whopping 65 grams. It will also hook up to the PC to upload data and produce graphs but I just got it today and haven't played with it yet - needs to be charged first.
Well crap! Here I was asking our suppliers at work to see if I could get you a good price. So much for that idea! For future reference, for all the local FE guys including newcommers, please let me know about items like this and I'll get a price. I'm not looking to make anything here or for the company. Price will be our cost plus shipping to us, just like as if I purchased through the company. Sorry I didn't catch you sooner Egneg.
Which forerunner is it? I've seen some pretty fancy GPS units that are quite small, but the micro ones seem to run upwards of $400+.
