Good news, the Blackjack is getting first coats of paint this weekend. I can't wait to see what my wife's family member does with the thing. I pretty much gave him free reign, so I'm in suspense as well. I find that when someone is painting something like this, it's best to let them have their own creative ideas come out since they're doing all the work. I have no idea how long it will be before it's finished, but I hope it's not too long. I told him that if I could possibly have it back by the end of the Summer, it would be great, to which he said it wouldn't nearly be that long.

I haven't had much going on at work and since I can't work on my projects here, I've been online with nothing else to do. So, I figured I'd share the progress report of the Blackjack. I believe that the only time I ran this one, after the other went back to Horizon, was that day at the pond with Egneg. All I know is, it ran great on his Prather and in the mean time I held it hostage! At least I managed to get it to him finally. Sorry to hear that. I was hoping you could come out. The pond is never the same without you. Personally, I like your input and valuable suggestions based on experience. Besides, I admit I'm an idiot when it comes to props and setup. LOL
I still can't believe how great that shovel runs! I've said it before, but I envy your patience and attention to detail. I always resolve to giving up all those details and put ugly boats in the water. One day I'll figure it out and make more time for building. In the meantime, I'm going to have fun and build what I can with the time available.
Hopefully I'll see you soon and I'll get that hardware to you.
While I'm posting, my ESC comes on now, but does not arm. I think this may be a radio issue as I was trying with the Aquacraft. I'm going to try with a different radio later this evening, but it looks promising. I got Dirty's old ESC to come on now, but does not arm. I think I'm going to give up on it.
Egneg, do you need the water-cooling plate off of it? Hey guys. I'm going to be running in the District 12 race up hear in Northern, VA in the end of June. If you have any FEMBOT gear I could borrow or a couple shirts I could buy, I would love to display it prominately during the race weekend. I'll pay for shipping both ways. I'm sure the Old Dominion guys that come up would love it!!!
