I have all the stuff for the xs2 but haven't touched it. I have been quite busy and am running behind on Diego's boat as well. I have a full plate and probably won't be able to work on it for a couple of weeks at least.

      Yeah yeah, hydro this...hydro that!

LOL, as if I'm one to talk! I've got stuff I've been working on for what seems like forever! I know how it is to be busy. Busy with the wife, busy with the wife, work, busy with the wife...LMAO!!!

Is there anything I can do on the XS2 for you Egneg? I feel so bad for gobbling up your free time.

That's ok Diego I think the build is just as much fun as running them. Once I get your boat done and some props sent out I will make the time. BTW the the shovel cracked at the seam in the nose area so I will need to repair that as well. I didn't notice it until I got home the last time we ran it. Good thing you didn't get a video of it sinking!

You have that shovel running so well, maybe it wasn't meant to go as fast as you have yours running. Do like the scale guys and puor epoxy into the nose and drop scrap fiberglass in there.

I was thinking and couldn't think of anything I would use this O937/3, 1/8" prop on. O937-3.jpg

Do either of you guys have a use for it? Egneg, I don't know if you have anything you could use it on. Diego, would this work for your daughter's police boat?

Anyway, let me know guys. Someone should get some use out of it.

                      Egneg,
Thank you for your hard work on my Jet boats paint job! ...and all the props I throw at you too!

                      Meniscus,
Thanks for the strut & 2 rudders. My scale ship will get good use out of the 2 rudders.
Come to think of it, that low pitch prop would do nicely on her police boat.

Guys, Please come to my scale boat clubs cookout and boat run this Saturday @ 1:00 pm (5/9/09). The scale guys just opened the door to FE. I think they'd love to watch Egneg's shovel running.
                      LMK guys!

                              thegreat1,
Sweet! We look forward to you moving here! For the record, I've got no problem wearing a thick coat and running/watching FE boats. We'll make sure we have a rescue boat ready so no one gets cold feet!

                              Diego,
You can have that prop then. I'll bring it when I come on Saturday. Say, where is this happening? Also, I'm going to do the fabrication on that motor mount for you on Saturday night. Could you please tell me the size of that motor? I've already got the materials.

                              Diego and Egneg,
I'm hoping to do some testing on Sunday. Are you guys down? I just need to put finishing touches on the X-Crab Evo for her to run. I was also thinking, with Diego's camera, we could get some video of his boats running and take a quick video of the Oberto for laughs with the loose setup! Hopefully when it flips, it won't sink since the hatch is so painful to tape.
