I went through that last year and the year before. I've got control of myself this summer though, I think.... I gotta get my Elam done too! Only 1 more rtr boat this year and maybe build 1 since I probably have enough parts to build 5.

This whole thing actually started with getting the Volan in a trade then I got a Widowmaker that had a burnt ESC, bought the Elam just as hobby room decoration, then bought the Supercat off of my buddy a few weeks ago...

They arent listing the amp rating. Prob 120ish.

I'll bet you $20.00 the ESC is not rate more than 80amps.

I'd be willing to bet it is much better than 80A, but we will probably never really know. Hell they say the VXL system is like 300A or something stupid like that and we know thats not probably true. The reason I think its better than 80A is I am betting/hoping they are going to also offer a version of this esc/motor for the Erevo BL and Emaxx BL at some point and do away with the Castle stuff. Kinda like they did back in the day with Novak until they came up with the EVX. I don't think their situation with Castle is really ideal for either company.
