Can someone kindly explain the trim tabs via the Traxxas pic shown? I am aware of how trim tabs work & what they do - raising/lowering the bow for different water conditions - but the Traxxas trim tabs feature an "adjustment screw", but in the pic shown, the screw looks to be bottomed out on the tab with no adjustment left, and the tab "seems" to be at 0 degrees of trim when compared to the aft section of the boat - am I missing something here?

If someone could fill in the blanks, I would appreciate it - thanks!!

I see a easy fix with a longer screw ?

It's either a oversight prior to the pictureing taking or the kit will come with longer screws to adjust more trim and have directions for this included.

Actually, the braket and tab are 2 separate peices. Take the screws out, and flip the bracket over if you need any neg. adjustment from the tabs. Most trim tabs are like this.

I think in the pic the tab is pushed down more than you think. Its hard to judge from the camera angle. Could be an optical illusion!

To me it looks like it is pushed way down.

it could be upside down but it might not line up with the holes if flipped. would have to actually try it

Why do you think it is wrong? You adjust the lead screw to push the bottom spring plate up or down. Looks normal to me.

I have never run trim tabs the other way around.

I see no issue here. Basically the same as speedmaster type tabs. They'll prob just end up parallel with the hull anyhow...

The adjustable trims should be flipped 180*
