Thanks VP!
REDLINE I should have said the screws came loose in the motor mount and caused it to shift on the previous run, I didn't mean the motor mount came loose from the boat. I am going to have to add epoxy around the stuffing tube where it ends in the black plastic motor mount because it has some melting from the heat from the flex but it will be fine.TFL Zonda (124mph), Miss Geico Zelos 36 (108mph), Veles 29 (91mph), Zelos Twin 36 (90mph), Miss Geico 29v3 (83.5mph), Sonicwake 36 V2 (83mph), Blackjack 42 (81mph), TFL Pursuit (79mph), UL-19 (75mph), Sonicwake 36 (73mph), Motley Crew (47.5mph), AquaCraft Rescue 17Comment

I had to give the Z a little loving today and I had a couple of pretty good test runs with my new 1716 props from Chris (Dasboata). On this run the motor mount came loose and caused the flex to bind up and rub with the tight Teflon liner and caused the ESC to go into thermal shutdown, so I had to limp back to the shore with only full power to one motor. Everything appears ok except the flex. The top recorded speed on this run was 80.77mph (130kmh). Also a BIG THANKS to my "Propsmith" (Chris) again for another AWESOME set of blades! Keagan can you update me? Below are the results from my best run today.

Zelos twin hits 88.23mph (142kmh) stock w/3831's
Here is the video of my Top speed run of 88.23mph (142kmh) with the NEW Dynamite 3831 Zelos twin motors. This was my first run with the new motors and I flipped on my second pass coming back into a slight wind at around 70mph. I have attached photos of the GPS logger software details at the end of the video and you can see that I hit my top speed of 88.23mph (142kmh) about ¾ the way on my first pass so this proves this boats capabilities with the new motors. Also, I believe from slowing down and stopping so quickly at the end of my first pass all the “water drag force” forced my left drive to move up significantly out of adjustment and helped cause the flip on the way back. My backup run after the flip (on struts out of adjustment on the same battery charge) was 85.12mph (137kmh). The highest temps I saw over my first test which was two or three passes each were 104° on the ESC & 106° on the motors (the ambient temp was around 68°). Last but least thanks to Chris Hoffmann (Dasboata) for the Awesome set of ABC 1716’s props!

Zelos running 86mph!
Well I figured since no one has posted here in a while I would give this thread a bump! I ran Ole yeller again today and thought that I might have a chance to match or hopefully beat my personal best of 88mph. Finally I got to the lake and the way the wind was blowing I would have been running into it if I ran the way I like to run on my fast passes, so I started not to take a chance, but I ran the boat anyways. My first WOT pass I was running away from the wind and towards the bank and it was a good one but I had to let out earlier than I wanted to because it was difficult to judge the where the boat would end up coming to a stop at running 85+mph and I didn't want to land it on the bank lol. After the first pass I drove the boat back very carefully into the wind for a second pass going as far as I could see the boat for another pass because now I had a good idea where my "safe zone" was at and where I would need to let out of the throttle at and as I was trying to turn the boat around (looking into the afternoon sun) the boat was about 800 feet away in a windy semi choppy area of the lake and.... I rolled it trying to get it turned around to get orientated with it, only doing about 5mph in the choppy area of the lake! Simply side rolled it...Wth.... Then I got out the rescue boat and by then the wind had taken the boat out pretty far on the other side of the lake and when I got it back to the Bank the GPS showed 84mph and the Dynamite Logger had clocked it at 86mph. Oh well there's always next time. Big Thanks to Chris on the props again! Keagan no need to update me on this run we'll see how the next one goes....

Hello to all!I am not posting lately but always coming and see the news here and in mod thread.First of all i want to say Gz to people achieving this greats speeds. The least i can say is impressive!!Today i finally had my first run after a couple of months with my new props (abc 1814) which arrived a couple weeks ago and i balanced and sharped them my self.My speed today was at 72mph which i am really happy because this is just the second set of props i try by myself and just took the boat threw the batteries in and go,even my struts were from summer time at 3mm.From next week will start searching the sweat spot on the batteries placement and see what more i can squeeze out of it (i believe there is more, today was like i really missed it and just wanted to have my fun with it).Keagan when ever you have the chance please update me :) Forgot to mention that my temps was not more then 50°C on both motors and around 45°C on esc around 120°F i believe
