Yup, that right there is the Teflon tube. Just pull that while sorta plastic tube out since you're going bigger flex shaft anyway.

its loose but maybe tight, try a piece of tubing almost the same size so it will fit in the rear and push the teflon tube forward enough for you to grab it and pull it out..

well the tube with inner liner is made for a .150 flexshaft and your putting in a .187 shaft so youll need the extra room and the flexshaft spins more freely with no liner,, liner creates drag!!!

The owner of that green boat is named Joe Mata and I got to know him a few weeks back when I bought his Futaba system in Jim's Dock. Thru our pm conversations, I learned that his dad is a Filipino and that they're planning a trip to visit the Philippines by the end of this year.
I'm sure he'll join our boating fun when he comes.
Here's more - he knows Jason as he traded with him more than once and I said its a coincidence since I know Jason as well! He said he plans to pm Jason if he'll be interested in this green pro cat as it was also Jason who got his busted Cat which Jason posted here in this thread a few months ago.

Joe is a great guy to trade with!!! I would buy his green boat but I have 3 other projects going at the moment. Plus if my wife sees another boat in the garage, I might be single!!!!She has been very good about my 13 boats so far, however I dont want to find her breaking point!!!LOL

Anybody looking for an Aeromarine Pro Cat?
A friend I met earlier in Jim's Dock recently had a blow over wherein the front of his cat opened up like a mouth when it smacked the water. Check it out here:

It is very repairable but he doesnt have the time to do it, so he is looking to sell his procat for $50 - $100. 50" long with a very nice green paintjob!

He just mentioned to me he would sell just the hull for $50 - $100.
If memory serves, I think Jason shelled out about $75 for shipping (50" long boat).
So I guess your worst scenario is $175??

I would agree bud! Joe is good people. I also heard that my Futaba system just arrived in the post office, so will grab that later!

Hey Ed,Ya , I wish I could get my wife into a hobby!!!! I've tried almost everything. We now have a 18 month old daughter that she loves taking shopping for clothes so I get some breaks to work on the boats... I posted pics wan back on page 61. I think it is post 1867?? Shawn did ALL the paint and interior work on my geico so you will have to ask him if you have any questions about the work... He did a Great job!!!
