Which hull to get (using sv27 electronics)

Since the hull has not yet arrived, I had to do something to keep me busy, so I started doing some mods for SV hardware.


3mm bolts replaced with 4mm ones, -looks so much reliable now.


Still some polishing to do.

And no more that rusty threaded backplate.

I will soon start that build thread too.

Paid it 4th of July.(5-7 days to my door... -right.)

I belive that the hull must be somewhere in Finland atm.

That EMS tracking code just wont work for some reason.

I e-mailed Frank 2 days a go and asked him to check the shipping status, no response yet. (maybe he wont know eighter)

I´m not saying it is Promise/Frank issue here, since no one has complained about him. Must be local post thingy.

I run into that all the time....that the English EMS China site isn't up to date. But if I contact the shipper they can read it in Chinese and it's much more detailed. I have seen it that the EMS China site shows it hasn't left china and then the same day it shows up on my doorstep.

I have bought several hulls and various hardware pieces afrom Frank nd they always arrive in Canada with in 2 weeks. The tracking sometimes says its sitting in China when it actaully arives at my door.

He usually answers all messages in a day or two,,strange that he has not replied yet??

Update!

Frank emailed me back ,and wrote "I have contacted my shipping company and my shipping company told me that the item was sent out on July 6. It was returned because it didn't pass the security check. The shipping company resent the item on July 7. They said that the item has left China on July, 7. They haven't got the updated status then. They will contact me when the info is updated.
I will keep you posted of it.

After this I got another email including new tracking number. Checked it ,and it is in Finland now! (arrived at the 13.th) . So It cant take much longer now!

Well... It´s here!

Just picked it up from customs, they had some problems finding it but, here it is.


The seam is a bit off and the brass tube received is too large, but it´s all good



It is not all blue, though, but it kind of belongs here anyway...(last pic)

Will start that build thread soon...

Well, the old sv motor is going back together as soon as I get the bearings(this week), and then I can test it . If It wont work , I need to order a new one.

(thinking of 2300 ammo, is it too short ant too much kv? )-Grim does recommend it on sv, so maybe it is good to use .

i have a ammo 2300 in my 25" ,good motor not a lot of torque. sv27 motor or black jack should work well
