brod has gone to the dark side with a gas boat
im with brod i like the black on white as most of my other hulls are yellow or white
the finish on my cat hull is really good the seam is done very well and the finish is fairly good
looking forward to your build thread as i have a 25" and 33" but think i need a 29" mono as well

      still thinking of the color..

-seller has all blue one ready to ship, other ones would take some time.

My monitor is so crappy that I cant tell what blue it is.

      So could you guys help?

is this more baby blue, dark blue, or what?

(it is all blue, the pic is blue/white)

I just opened my sv motor http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...68&postcount=8

          what do you think?

I dont know much of these motors, but should I epoxy the armatures so there s no contact with can???

And thinking of changing the bearings to ceramic clutch bell ones, any ideas why not ?

Since I opened it, I thought why not... tamiya fans... WORLDS FASTEST SILVER CAN!

The seller asked do I want the transom and rails installed, I told him that the transom yes, but rails no, there is no need for them in electric, right?

a 25"-29" deltaforce hull or copy would be great for the sv27 gear
                  Hi guys,

I agree with ozzie as I have one as well and have just installed a 580L.
                  My hull was 1780g.

thanks Brod, but do you have bigger pics? -I´m on my familys old summer house atm, watching this on my laptop (8.9" screen) and that pic is about .5" cross. My boat will be all blue. that white/blue is cool too.

And any comments of my motor problems?? -any 1?

                            hope these are bigger.
Without holding and having a good close inspection of your motor, its going to be hard to give a comment, apart from it should have no lateral play on the can, nothing should be loose inside.New bearings would be easy and cheap to fit.

have to agree on the non impressive gassers.
Most of the guys round our way are obsessed with cost effectiveness, only fitting strimmer/weedeater motors etc. so double slow boats are the nom
Theres only me and my son Jack with 7hp gas boats, plus another pal.
I like both gas and FE.
But if it 'aint fast its gunna' get boring fast...

Thanks Brod, thous are great pics! -and boats.

The motor problem is that I think that the armature/copper wires -if that is it, dunno the correct term for it in english (the thing pointed by red arrow) should be not on contact with can. If so , is epoxy good to use on it? .

-and should the whole "armature" be epoxied in the can, or just leave it loose? (I think it needs gluing)-no wobble/play, but there is some residue that looks like glue inside the can.

Are clutch bell bearings ok to use in elec. motors? -in this pic I installed some from trx 3,3 and they feel way better then stockers did. (but if cb bearings are ok, I´ll get ceramic ones)
