Thanks, I hope they will report here asap

So what about the scuffing tube/ flex shaft, no mods needed? (hack the scuf tube off sv hull) -or should I get shorter one/cut the old one? -will see...

I´ll gather a shopping list and post it here, hope some one will check it out and tell me what they think of it!

put in a new stuffer tube, cut the flex to lenght. all the parts you need can be found in the o.s.e shop
you shouldnt need to much if you gut your sv, motor mount/servo mount would be about it

I would order from OSE, but Steven is on vacation (good for him).

        hull http://cgi.ebay.com/Boogieman-25-dee...ayphotohosting

        servo mount http://cgi.ebay.com/CNC-servo-tray-s...3%3A1|294%3A30

        motor mount http://cgi.ebay.com/motor-mount-for-...3%3A1|294%3A30

        These ok?

And 2 lipo packs will fit?

I have one spare sv hull witch has new scuff tube installed and new motor mount too so it is not a problem atm.

I'd probably go for the 29" V if you have a bit of chop. The 25" monos really fly with the SV set up, but they're pretty small and you could be upside down a lot! The SV set up should get the 29" moving along nicely.

Another hull to consider would be the Oval Master 26 from BBY Racing. I run mine with a BJ26 set up, and it is great! However, when it gets choppy, I wish it was bigger.

All of your SV hardware should fit on the boats without much problem.

The 25" one is 1.5" shorter then sv ,29" one is 3" longer.

            What kind of performance should
            I get from these?

, my sv goes low 40´s every time.

I guess that smaller hull =more speed(maybe can use larger prop too)

and larger hull could need smaller prop and goes slower?? -but flips less.

I have 1:1 boat on my use(I drive these from there) ,so occasional flip is no biggie

Bigger boats do look better :)

the 29" would be better in chop, but i havent flipped my 25" since i set it up and it runs in the mid 40s, i dont race but do run with other boats.
i personaly think this would be a better mount as the one you show would take up more room in a small hull. and you need to run the batteries along side the motor http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...rod=tfl-502b12

The mm I linked is adjustable 64mm(2 1/2") to 80mm(3 1/16" -the stock sv mount is 80mm wide. So I cant imagine this being major problem??

-Atleast If I´ll get that 29" ,right?

And the flex shaft is long enough for 29" ?
I imagine That the batteries should go way towards the bowl if I will use stock flex? -Any problems here?

Ok, now I need to decide witch to get...

25" looks a little like a toy, 29" looks good, but I cant imagine it being fast enough.

Any thoughts of top speed? -and is x642/220 too much? (all I have atm)

I just emailed that store (asking for offer of everything combined w/shipping) -the 29" hull.

Hope it will be good enough , so I can order it.

The hull looks good to me, any thoughts?

I'd be very surprised if the 29" mono wasn't as quick or quicker than your SV. And handle better also. The Promise boats are pretty light, so I think the 29" would be perfect.

A 642 should be just fine. Don't know much about Prather props though.

If you go for the 29 you should be able to mount your motor towards the back (front face of motor about 90mm from inside of transom), and fit you lipos in front of it. Then your motor mount width won't matter too much.

Hmm... Mounting motor that back... That would give more power too(shorter flex/less drag)

                          Sounds interesting!

Any links of this hull being in use? -I could not find any. -maybe it is a copy of something (like the delta force something)???

i dont think the little extra weight of the 29" would be a problem at all, plus if you want to upgrade a bit later on it will handle more power
that hull is a deltaforce copy and from what i have heard handle just as well

That looks really clean and smart!

The batts at front and middle, so it is way more stable then on side mounted packs, right? (lower cog)
