Dino..thanks for the info....I agree, I think this could be a great motor to add to the fe boating world. I am looking forward to your testing results. personally I am going to have a medusa ordered by April or so I am looking into the 36-80 1600kv motor....I am going to use it in my whip. Comparing it to my 11xl Rigger. I am in the testing stages...taking all of the hardware off and final painting the whip and newest 32" rigger.Comment

mainly because of one person who has no good input other then bashing and asking stuipd questions..
I have some real world test results for you guys if you like.
I own a mega ACN 22.20.1 motor wich is a 4 pole 5500 KV motor. as well as a NEU 1506 5500 KV motor. ( same physiacl size)
the NEU ran in a 2s rigger on 1P and it ran GREAT and very fast... i put th MEGA in there ( 2 year old mega VS and BRAND NEW neu) and it ran a bit faster and turned the boat lose so much quicker. it was like it gave the boat a bit of red bull.
and this was a heavily used, raced ( for two years) mega motor VS a new NEU.
SO yes! i will continue to buy MEGA's because they are fantastic!!!!
Taylor, your perceived insult is taken, if that is not the case, say so, BUT the thread was about Medusa motors not Mega. Plus, I apologise for all my stupid questions over the years to the FE fraterenity.
Now, back to the topic of Medusa motors

Just an FYI...after this discussion I sent an email to Medusa Motors sales staff asking about the origins of their components....so far no response....I doubt I'll get one to such a loaded question but if they don't respond soon I'll just have to assume that my assertions are correct

I started this thread on medusa motors usa, and wanted to share what I learned from the company. AND listen to what others have heard, or first hand experience with the motors. I am not going to write anymore on this subject as my thread has continued into an argument of some sort, and its not even about medusa motors anymore. Thanks to all of the folks who gave input about this motor company. I also appreciate the info on Mega and Neu, as I have not had any personal experience with those either and its good to hear what others are using. Just don't understand or appreciate starting a topic that could have been educational and have it end up being a pissing contest.
Thanks again to those that gave motor input, on the motors themselves.Comment
