And also tony.. if you would like to have those rules in effect for your club.. by all means that's fine.. and no offense to you.. but our club doesn't and didn't like the proposal.. now I could see if you traveled to some races that you could present it.. but last year only one district race had a fe class make.. and that was tempe...why would you want the gas guys to vote on an fe proposal.. unless you talked in a bunch of people's ears..I will be talking to the district 19 director.. Richard Romero..

While this is not the place to discuss it, as long as you got this going here's the sequence of events : I ONLY wanted the SCSTA guys to approve it so they wouldn't drop out (and kill the sign-up #'s) after burning up currently approved motors so I brought it up ONLY for SCSTA. Russ said that He would only approve if it was District approved so it was taken out of my hands. I don't argue with Russ. I had no intention of having the entire district become involved, ONLY the four SCSTA races locally. I don't "talk in people's ears" btw.

Funny how the BJ29 v3 has been okey-dokeyed here (and the PB 2000 PB motor) without batting an eye in spite of they're NOT legal according to the actual "Big Boy" NAMBA rulez.

While I don't have all the answers, at least I did save a bunch of money switching to GEICO auto insurance

And we are allowing the 62mm size although under 2000kv for winter warmups.. 65mm.. might as well get rid of limited at that point

Well Russ is not the district director.. you know..I just got off phone with Richard.. it will not be put up for a vote at havasu..as for your club you guys can run whatever rules you want.. but I totally disagree with the 65mm option.. I'm am on the fence with the 62mm version of rules other clubs are trying.. but there is a lot of variables..ps.. I sent you an email

            Okay, Last Post :

            ONCE AGAIN (read MY e-Mail)

I NEVER wanted to effect the district - just to allow SCSTA entrants to continue with a motor to last all season. Russ took it out of my hands - NOT ME.

The 3630 58mm and the 3630 in the temporary 64mm can are internally THE SAME. There are NO 3630 1940 KV's in stock here, only 2 1500KV's.

Putting the kabosh on Russ's agenda kills the ability of SCSTA using the motors. The length of the can doesn't have any effect on the power but TP Power will have the shorter can 3630's in stock by the first SCSTA race in April but thanks to you we won't be able to use those. If the gold motors continue to burn out, with nowhere else to go, the series is over. I'm done here.

Guys, there is a big risk of this going sideways and getting too personal - let's agree to stop all talk of motor racing legality in this thread. Otherwise I'll be forced to close it. Open a thread in one of the rules forums please.
