Seeing this is my first attempt, I'm not worried. But I will have fun and the boats will perform fine
Will we set a record ? Who knows
Will the boats run well? Absolutely
No test time because designing new boats, high winds and shipping orders. We can only do the best we can do.

Actually the P-cat SAW record belongs to Shawn Swain. I'm not sure who had the oval record, but it's not me.

ProMarine, you need to come to flint and get one of your boats in this guy's hands. He has the oval racing skills you need and if it sinks he'll strip down to his boxers and go in after it!

The SAW record is respectable at 78.5 mph. Just set last May

The oval record looks reachable. 32.557 seconds from 2011.

Might take a motor swap to get there.

Q Cat oval might be an easier quest.

It is interesting to listen to bravado from a designer/manufacturer but I am glad that he has risen to accept a challenge at a sanctioned event rather than just bluster. Also, it also takes driving skill, knowledge and preparation to succeed. I wish Skater368 all the very best, as it would be great to see a new competitive hull.
