tlandauer: I have the Zpoxy finishing resin version of that... Not the PT39. Seems rather strong with the milled FG -- I've had a few mixed cups of it get rock hard right before I was about to use them lol. But right after it's mixed its rather thin though so I try to wait like at least 5 mins or so for it to start drying so that it doesn't flow so much. I tried drilling some of that and its almost like cement literally. I guess it must not be too different than this one then.Comment

Yes, your observation is correct! If I need to glue something with that particular resin, I will always add some milled FG. It does make it very strong. The consistency of the resin depends on how much you mix. I also use West Systems 404 High Density Adhesive Filler. This is a big jar and cheaper than the Milled FG I have. According to West System's instruction, you can mix it so the consistency level can be like ketchup or peanut butter, for different purposes. Google it and on the back of the jar it lists various consistency. For a mount I usually make it like ketchup consistency. Too thick a viscosity will degrade its ability to penetrate to underside of the rails and what not. In general I don't like to wait for the epoxy to thicken before applying it.
Just my $.02
