thanks...I could do my videos like that...but i dont because i record in super hd on my phone. Yes, I have a 64gb memeory card but if i added that in for every run, the video would probabaly be 300+mb vs the average 150ish mb it is now lol. If anyone ever doubts what i'm posting for speed, i have no problem doing a complete video to back it up. As a matter of fact.....I'll do one this weekend just for the heck of it...altho no one has said they doubt any of what ive posted....you can clearly tell its moving pretty dang good by watching the video.....and i have way too many of almost the same mph passes.Congrats on the speed Trav, looks like it's running great.
Who would say that? I think any of us that have run at a time trial would tell you there are a lot of variables going thru "the traps". Just hit them at the wrong angle and you will lose a lot of time. I use gps all the time to see my top speed and I trust it for a gauge more than I would the lights, they are just a snapshot of part of a run.

I hope gps counts because I upped my top speed this weekend lol! One thing I would say and this is just my opinion, I think for it to be "proof" you should see the gps set to zero, put it the boat then pulled in an unedited video. I have video of that pass but I'm not going to say i have a 106mph boat till I do it at the trials or have an unedited video start to finish.32" carbon rivercat single 4s 102mph, 27” mini Rivercat 92mph, kbb34 91mph, jessej micro cat(too fast) wasComment

Yea man, I don't think anyone here would contest your speeds, yours and my progress is documented. We have both worked our way up, I just meant that video you come across on youtube that says "100mph rc boat" and you just see the end of the run and them pulling out a gps. It would be real easy to throw a gps set at that speed in there....or if someone has been running 70 in a few videos and then they post a gps of 95 lolComment

You don't need to "prove" anything. I was there and saw it....I took the picture, lol. Worlds fastest Daytona.

i dont think any of us have anything to "prove". If someone didnt believe it....I could care less lol. I just know when i'm putting this thing in the water...I still get the shakes and then after a succesful pass......a huge relief comes over me that i didnt lose it! lol
Ive been lucky, Ive had 0 blow overs, one flip because I was on 6s and I wasnt ready for the punch the revolectrix had! so i was a little freedy with the trigger...whoops! then I had a flip when i tried a different esc right from the start....yea.... ive been lucky...i'm sure my luck will run out soon the faster i get.32" carbon rivercat single 4s 102mph, 27” mini Rivercat 92mph, kbb34 91mph, jessej micro cat(too fast) wasComment

Yep the "shakes" are what got me addicted and keep me wanting more LOL! I am a lot more comfortable running her now, but I still get a little shaky and sweaty palms
You would be surprised how much of a beating these boats can take, when reinforced properly anyway...the steering setup seems to be my weakest link, third rudder, (they seem to bend when you "frisbee" across the lake at 90ish) bent rods, and this weekend I striped my servo horn then found that I striped the output gear on my servo....

my steering rod bent when i flipped mine last weekend. I'm using a 440 rod with bends in it...the bends is what saved my servo i think.Yep the "shakes" are what got me addicted and keep me wanting more LOL! I am a lot more comfortable running her now, but I still get a little shaky and sweaty palms

This is exactly what I hate !
I use to carry a ice chest with me to the lake, came in handy when the boats were upside down in the lake. I would dump the chest out and use it to float
