I've got a couple of those single pickup rudders if you want them. You can redrill the water pickup hole in those too.

Just a suggestion: Why not put a series of lines with a number scribed, milled or printed on the strut and record your setting. It might differ front to back if you are angling the drive, but you could always record 2 numbers if needed. If you put the boat flat on the table with the strut also touching the table as 0 you could share the results on multiple boats if they have the same system

This is basically what I meant when I stated cal marks on the strut and it's bracket.

I plan on it! I have a Millport (Bridgeport copy) vertical mill and a Atlas lathe. So I will model it. You know "Cut and try". However, I don't have a tig welder so I could modify existing parts. Has anyone tried the alum brazing rods available on ebay and elsewhere? Do they work as advertised?

I haven't tried the brazing rods. I have a tig tho.
I have a lathe and mill also....if you want to pm me, we can collaborate on ideas. Or I can weld up whatever you need welding.

Got my revo batteries in today. Ordered them like last Thursday and they actually showed up yesterday but I wasn't home to sign for them. Couple things I noticed. ..they are longer but thinner. Fairly light. Here's a comparison. ..I know not apples for apples but at least it'll give you an idea of weight.

All are 3s packs of course

Time for an update. I ran the revolectrix batteries. ...they were impressive! I did put a shortened rudder (1/4" shorter) but I know most of it was from the batteries. I only charged them to 4.20v not 4.27 like they are designed to do. I went from 87.3mph to.....

I wanted to add....I know I have another thread I posted the video in...I'm not sure if I should continue to update both or ditch one. If it annoys you that very similar posts are made in both threads, I apologize.
