When your done spinning your wheels with octura and prather try an abc prop. Stay with 43 to 45 mm. I would try an 1816 available here from OSE. Or have Dasboata do one up for you.

Thanks. The guy who did this prop for me is very well known in the FE world. His name is Mark Sholund. This prop is not stock. Is custom made for my setup. We will find out in the morning how it does.

Btw, dasboata is supposed to be doing an 1816 for me. He said he was taking a few days off and would let know when it's done.. I'll have that for comparison.....

Whew were you ever right! I couldn't get over 45mph with that thing. If you like acrobatics, this prop is pretty entertaining! It will do a back flip! Lol. I don't even know where to begin with the tuning on this thing. It prop walks so bad I really don't want to drive it lol. I think it just has way too much pitch. I think it like 4.29" or something like that. Check when I get home. Well at least I got a good laugh. Wasted 60 bucks tho. Hahaha

I didn't put the 1521 in. I was trying to see what the back to back difference in prop would be. The test today was a bust. The new prop just bent backwards as soon as i gave it full throttle. The pic above it pretty funny. I'm going out to a bigger lake tomorrow and do some running. More running than testing really. Maybe a longer distance will net me more speed. I thinned the m645 just a little more toward the outer edges. I'd
F would gave had time tonight I would have put the 1521 in it for tomorrow but I have some other stuff I'm working on. I just ordered a few more props, a abc 1618, X646 and x648. With the Octura props I'm going to copy what I did with my 645 prop. It just seems to work well.

I guess I'm missing it, Maybe one blade has more pitch than the other? That guy probably did that prop like that, I don't think you bent it backward from running it.

did you fold that prop Travis. Should have it hardened if you are going to thin them. Chris will do that

You can try jacking up the strut but probably just too much lift and pitch. My boat liked the ABC props but I had to run them a bit higher than the Octura props for the same reason.

I've never seen a single blade bend back like that. Only thing I can think was maybe it was thinned out a little too much or it hit something when it was dropped in the water. Hardening can be helpful but it can make further mods to a prop difficult. Also if you can throw a blade if done incorrectly.

Here's a comparison, before I ran it and after....yes it bent. No I didn't hit anything lol.

Also, notice it's facing the same way in both pics. Yes it folded lol.
