Looks like you got it covered! How deep do you run your strut?? and to what angle?? I had a hard time finding a "sweet spot" so I could get in plane but not waste energy/amp draw/ and so not to create too much heat in the motor! I tried 4, 5 and 6 series octura props, with mixed luck! I love octura, I have also tried a few 3 blade props but the batteries (6000mah) (8000mah) were getting a pounding and I wasnt getting more speed (considerable)so I stepped down and let the motor get a little higher rpms!

I love ur setup man... make some vids of it please??? I wanna see some more MV in the WATA!!

Thats sweet! Ijust sawthe pics! LOVE it! keep em coming! I like how you run the servo outside! Thats what I call: "... thinking outside the box..." lol! That was stupid! its gonna be nice when you make it run to what you want! 45mph with your setup is NOT conservative.... it is a FACT! Im sure it can run closer to 50mph on a good day! I like how you sealed everything! (very safe)

looks good man! keep it up!

Hey man ! I see you are not running one of the screws in your rudder! After hitting a turtle myself at 42mph and braking the whole assembly loose and loosing it.... I understand! I put some nylon screw in it place and the rudder holds its position better! just a thought! If you cant find any Ill send you some! I have a whole bag of the suckers! lol! They work good! I already hit another turtle! lol!

LOL! no kidding! lol! I still think the esc on the top of the box is the best spot! the air coming in thru the top keeps it nice and cool! Nice! You making me jealous now! lol! Love the pics!

How come you didnt use the same motor mount?? doesnt fit? I wish I had some more money ! I would definately slap a neu in there! This Feigao motors are ok.. but they are energy wasteful and dont offer much torque! thats why i choose to let it spin a little more!

It stays surprisingly stiff even with one screw. My turn fin is the same way. One time I brought the boat in too fast and hit the shore at about 10 MPH. Everything kicked up, and some sand got into the prop shaft. Cleaned it out, put back into water and off it went like nothing happened

I am editing today's video right now, will have it posted tomorrow afternoon.

I think what we got going here is very cool. Back when i was researching my conversion, there was not a single spot online with so many MV conversions!

YES! That's exactly why i put it there!

I would have kept my Feigao 540 8XL, but Hydra 120 ate that motor... The start up was rougher with Hydra than with old ESC. It jerked the magnet from the shaft and it just spun on it. I reglued both magnet drums back, but i did it wrong (long story), effectively destroying the motor. So i decided to try NEU. So far very happy with it.

Nice..... I cant wait to see the video!
You got it right! I think our experiences will just help someone make it better and hopefully they share their setup too so we can make ours even COOLER! lol! I love my setup though! I like it much better than my SV27! And I have modified the cheez of it too! But the MV just looks and handles better IMO and not lots of people have an Electric MV! Im sure Im the only one here in Daytona with a electric MV!!! Not that I would mind it if 300 people decided to buy and build one! It would make it fun to run the boats with other people!

If you are staying up late, i can have the video uploaded in 1 hour as .wmv file to my server. I am located it Pembroke Pines, FL. I heard you guys got boat races there, maybe i will go up there one day. The reason i wanted Miss Vegas because there is no any other boat out there this size that can beat the coolness of this hull.

Here.... this is what I mean on the rudder! I used to run it without anything like you! But this way I "feel" safer and I attached the top of the rudder to the rudder shaft so in case the assembly brakes I dont loose it in the water!

the hull is the best one around IMO! I liked it so much I decided to put all the stupid expensive graphics on it! lol!

It is definately a head turner!lol

That prop was Octura M435 3 blade I think.
