I ordered Octura X640 balanced and sharpened prop. It should be even faster than M440.

Be careful with the load on it! I almost fried my ESC when I tried that prop! I really didnt care much for the 2mph increase of speed! It took forever to get on plane and it just put too much strain in the ESC and batts!

That thing is FAST !!! Your boat is barely touching water! Damn, i need to get some LiPo cells for mine. I am running 2.2 pounds of batteries over here. Your's runs like a feather. Oh well, I just ordered some more A123 cells. I will have to wait till more work comes in (part time remote broadcasting) and buy couple of LiPo packs. This is insane!

lol! Im glad you liked it!
this is as fast as yours im sure! Yours might even look a little fast! If you think is barely touching the water then just wait till tomorrow with some little chop and wind and then Ill post another vid! Thats when I went the fastest at 49mph+! This run was slow in comparison! I usually average around 45mph! I think is fast enough!

Thats why im surprised your boat doesnt lauch out of the water! Im sure It will with a diet and some tuning It will run faster than mine it seems because It already runs fast enough! Mine is running on 4s! on the vid! But when I want some show speed I slap the 6s and the thing is definately a rocket! Too fast for my nerves! lol

Yes, i think 50 mph is the limit of this hull on normal slightly choppy water. I should be pretty happy with it hitting that speed. Its pretty neat when people driving by pull over to see the boat, and when i tell them its electric, they reply "i did not know electrics went that fast". Awesome.

nah man! 50mph is not the limit by far! I have hit 63mph on a very slight chop and with a plastic prop! Of course your run time is much less and the ESC DOES get hot running on 6s! I dont like to run mine that fast! I dont enjoy it! The hull runs completely suspended on air and any minimun mistake and you brake stuff!

This is how I broke my plastic prop when I was testing it like that! I decided to stay with 4s! Still good speed... just not stressed out!

The 49mph record was on 4s! My 6s is 63mph!

Do you know your current draw at 6S ? What batteries were those?

At load it peaks @ 110 amps

Haha, no wonder my old 110A ESC burned up running Feigao 8XL and 19.8 Volts with X440 prop.
