Nice work with the geico. That boat is super nice now and I remember what you started with after jumping off waterfalls with it. Haha. I doubt you'll be doing that for a while. At least with that beauty.
Back to prop talk. What did you put on your barbwire for prop? It looks metal and those cone bolts look killer too. And what did it do to the performance of the boat? When I bought my son his barbwire (which I use myself) I bought a couple plastic octura props but I think it only gave me 2-3 mph diff at best. I need a GPSComment

ive put the barbwire through a lot haha both turn fins got lost, sheered the rudder off, bent the flex shaft.. etc
stock is a 30mm, i put the stock mini geico prop on it (32mm) then i tried an octura 34mm(plastic) and fried the esc.. it now has a seaking 35a with a octura 32mm prop(copper) metal gear servo, upgraded rudder + turn fins.. and dual cooling :) not much speed difference from stock but its plenty for what i need. too much funComment

Wow, got to finally take her out today... On 4s.... Incredibly fast! Drove for about 2 minutes and brought her in, motor and esc were both 100 and bats were 112. Drove for another 5 mins before she died.. Same temps. I'm 100% stoked on this boat right now! Thanks for all of your guys' input and help!Comment

Hi,
Very nice mod you did on the boat and setup.
But I would change the water lines on the motor jacket and mount,
And that may let the motor run even a little cooler too for you.
Water should come in at the lowest point and exit at the highest point at top of motor jacket,
This way just about the whole jacket fill up with water and over flows out the top nipple.
Than run it to the mount and out to the hull exit.
Get some video's of it running soon I hope.Comment

I want to see video of the MG too. My setup is very similar. Those esc are good but you the programming card is around 10 and its a great cheap investmentComment
