Well I didn't document the next steps too well..... I ran into a ton of issues but figured everything out...

I reinforced where the motor mount is for shlts and giggles

Then pretty much put everything together.

Looks good Gabe. Did you remove the wood under the original motor mount? How did you do that?

Yes, that was the first thing I did on the first page.. I just sorta pried it and tapped it with a hammer. It came out pretty clean.. I also had to remove the stuffing tube support so I could angle it down more to line up with the motor. I didn't want to at first, but it's actually better since now the motor sits lower and I can put the canopy seal on without it hitting the motor. I know you said that you don't use yours due to clearance issues

I think I'm going to do the same or something similar with my motor mount. I like it. I still have the stock motor mount and I made a rig that's ghetto to give the extra weight from the motor some support but not a proper solution. I know the wood pulls out easy. I pulled the wood for the batt trays out and made custom ones out of another material that sits low on the sponsons which helped the ride be a bit more stable by keeping the weight of the batts low. I tried it first just putting Velcro without any trays, but I wanted to get them a little off the floor so that if any water gets in the lipo's won't be wet

oh man please change your deans to at least 5.5 mm bullet connectors.
What prop do you plan on running? 4s1p with those turnigy cells is not going to make them happy trying to supply a 4082 for more then 60 seconds or so

I've never had a problem with deans.. (They did come stock on this boat) but then again I've never run a set up like this.. So maybe that'll be what I do.. Also not too sure on what all the 4s1p or 4s2p means... I've got two 2 cell batts and two 3 cell batts that I might try running on 5 cell after its all dialed in on 4 cell. Why would 10,000 mah be drained in 60 seconds? My old set up would run for about 8 minutes on 4 cell and they were only 4000mah each, so 8,000mah total. I've also got some 5200mah 2 cells to use as well. I use deans on everything(cars, trucks, planes, and boats) that way I can interchange all my batts... But if I'm going to run into problems, ill fix it. Advice?!

Wouldn't my set up be considered 4s2p? 4 cell in series with two packs?! Or am I a tard

4s2p= two 4 cell packs connected in parallel. Not in series, that is 8s !
Too many boats, not enough time...

                            Gabe,

I had deans too but when I put my big motor in draws so much current, your going to need the bullet connectors or the deans will burn up and possibly break other equipment also.

Did you epoxy the new motor mount to the hull?

ok so running two 2 cells in series is 4s1p? that doesnt make sense
