    Prop advise

Well, ive decided to bring my old beat up miss geico back to life.. Im planning on re fiberglassing the thing and fixing all of the damage. Im ordering a new rudder, upgraded flex cable, new canopy, and a leopard 3674 3270kv (this will be a 4s boat so the kv should be okay right? or should I lower it down a bit) it will have either a seaking 180 or turnigy 180 esc.

Giving the provided info, what type/size/pitch prop should i run? Obviously i want this boat to go fast, but id rather have reliability.

    3270kv x 14.8v=48,396rpm ( unloaded) =

    Try 2200kv with 4s.
Too many boats, not enough time...

Lol I do not understand motors at all! So with a 2200kv, what size prop would work well?

On that boat the x642 or m445 should work.
Take a look at the recommanded motor/rpm chart that is under each motor on the web here. 48,396 is in SAW territory, you need to be in 30,000 range, give a couple thousand more or less for sport running.
Mine has 4082 Leopard and the kv is 2200. With x642 the boat was GPS'ed at 53.3mph, I know other people have run faster, but you need to select the right kv.

I use to run 6s on the stock electronics and never had a problem... i never gps'd it but im sure it was somewhere near 50. however i dont have my 3s batts anymore and im trying to get somewhere near the same speed on 4s.. should i maye get a larger motor then? since you run the 4082, would that be a better match or what do you guys think i should run?

Leopard 4074 should do, I will go with the 1400kv personally, I like reliability and that gives you a comfortable 31,080 rpm .
Some may suggest you to the 1650kv, but that is at 36,630 rpm.
Also I prefer "Y" wind motor over "D" wind.

Since the OP is running 4S the 2200 Kv motor is what he wants...

                    Gabe,

Your going to bring her back to life so you can launch her again of the waterfall? After I reinforced my hull she's much more solid. I put the 4082 in mine and she flies. I put the 1800kv. On 4s she runs ok and is fast on 6s. This weekend I'm going to try 5s. I use a 642 and ran her a couple times on x646

Got the old motor mount/wood set up out..

Will be putting a 4082 motor and mount in there.. Also epoxied the heck outta my split seem. Lol

I filled the entire hull with expandable foam so there is no what I can get in there to do glass work so this will have to do.

Mods can you please move this to the miss geico forum

4082 is gonna suck down 2s packs quick. Are you planning on running 4s packs parallel?

Nope... Just 2 cells. They are 5200mah, not really worried about runtime right now... The 3 boats I've been driving lately never go through a set due to something failing lol I kinda have a feeling this boat will break before it dains the packs haha

I also may buy some 3 cells batts so I can run 5s... Don't think that'll last long either since its a 2200kv
