37,000 isn't crazy but if you are gonna run it on a mono make sure you use a wet well or cool the stuffing tube inside the boat, at those RPMs, the tube and thaft get very hot and the brass tube will melt.

Hey SSchevy , while the Lehner motors are very high quality units I personally have found that you can get better efficiency from other brands at cheaper prices, I don't know if you're here in the states but Neu's Leopards and others are much cheaper here in the states.

I did not want to get off of the info you where looking for,
So I sent a pm to Mike for some input on my pursuit and setup for it.

                  I have a pursuit mono and running a 4074 1800kv in it,
And I was asking Mike for some info on a better motor setup.
Because I have a lot of motors setting around to try in it,
Now that I see how the boat runs and handles I think it's time to up grade a little.

My buddy is using one of these motors in a geico on 6s with a 130a hv seaking esc,
Runs nice and cool and lots of power and head room for the amps to.

May be one of these motors would get things rolling for you,
To test and see how the setup work in that hull.

I think you would be push the limits of the motor on 6s,

                        22.2 * 1600 = 35520 rpm unloaded.

You need to make a choice to run on 6s or 8s than we can help find a motor for you.

Well on 8s that would pushing it some at 1250 *29.6 = 37000 rpm unloaded.
But 6s and 7s would be good, 1250*22.2=27750 rpm and 1250*25.9=32375 rpm.
That is a lot of motor for that hull.
