I'm replying because I got got a PM on this subject so I thought I'd share the recommendation with you guys incase I'm way off, you can correct me. I can only speak good about Lehner and have had a few of them already. the 1950/5 is a good size motor and 2 of them can take a 44" cat way past 100mph. I would guess this is a good size for a 33" mono and the MGM ESC is good for 250A and 300A ish on a burst. Since Lehner handle RPM well I see no issue in running a 445 on 6s for around 60mph and later on move up to 8s with a 440 for more serious speed. If this is suppose to be a progress "where you don't burn stuff" then ofcause start slow with smaller props and short passes (1-2-3) then measure temps on everything!! motor, ESC, Lipos then move up a prop size.... I have a feeling the 450++ props may not suit safely. Also consider the 1393 kv is under load! (so 1600kv ish or just under in normal terms) Again, just my thoughts. This is how I would aproach it if it was me.

              Good morning,

Anybody know what the Delta Force 33" cyber storm hull can handle as far as speeds ?

Also what can size of motor will it take with out having torque roll from it and the prop,

And is the Pursuit hull just about the same as the DF 33 hull and will it handle the same speeds ?

Thanks for any info on the hulls.

                I think I'll end up with this motor lehner Hiamp 2250/9 1315 kv , 2x 4s 6600 70 C thunderpower pro force batteries series ?

                Is that a good choice?

Do you know where in that should a suitable motor mount? Or do I have to carry out one?

Does anyone have experience with this store ?

Seem ok for the motor, I would get the LK though then run on 6 and 8s. That motor should pull some bigger props as well. Again start small!!!! I many times thought of doing a 2250 in a DF. You can buy from lehner direct. Maybe get the motor with 6 outputs just to give you a couple more options. You can use lehner motor mounts for front and back and mount to a carbon plate.

My Cyberstorm has a Leo 1600kv on 6s. A M545 gets it moving up around 60, but it gets a bit sketchy if there's just a little bit of chop, so I end up at partial throttle a lot, which causes more heat on the esc. A M445 with some cup in the tips gets me up to 55 and I can run it wide open more and makes it more driveable. A m447(or maybe it was an x447) didn't seem to give me any more speed, but bigger props get it walking a bit.

Yeah bad choice for a reallly fast boat, mine is the current national champ in P-Mono and its very fast on 4S with a NEU 1521/1.5d, and prather 235-250 props (depending on sprint or offshore classes) i can get well ino the 70's but the boat has bad tendencies at those speeds, especially in chop and race water, Mine is definitely on the heavy side because it is a race boat. 60-65mph is about the top for racing or any chop, but i've seen em go well into the 80's in a straight line. I think 6-8s might be overkill w/ this boat.

                            Why I could not run leopard 4082 1250 kv 8s lipo ?

                            Props. Octura m445/2, x440/3 , x450/3 and x452/3.

Are those propellers the right size?

the only prop I would try with 37,000rpms is the 440
37,000rpms is a bit much if you want the things to last
a 1000kv motor for 8s use would be a better choice
the 1250kv motor would work better on 6s
