I'm a speed freak so I would gut the hull and beef it up for speed. So that would take me out of this equation anyhow.

Ken and I went out last week for first time this year. Cabin fever was getting the better of me/us. Within 2 minutes, I flipped it over. I was going against the current and against the wind. It went up in the air, pointing straight up for a second or two and then landing upside down. A nice back flip.

pheeew im finally back to the boating world and boy how things have certainly improved.

my last project was a pb 1/8 hydro to ep conversion 8s..... what a cow....

now i just ordered the arr 58 from dons hobby.

i do work for a horizon/great planes distributor but tower doesnt have the arr.

question, does anyone have a record speed on this kitty? because i plan to break it! :D now now im a joker people so go easy. i will try to get 55 mph assuming it hasnt been hit yet.

im amazed how many haters bash on this hull LOL someone actually said this hull is ugly. cmon now you know if this person saw a full scale blazing the shore he'd cream in his pants. we all know its true lol

I have a Sprintcat with a 1100kv on 8s spinning a 5518

I have hit high 40's. I did change the prop last week and was hoping to see what it could do but I had some problems with the other boats. We are hoping to go out early next week. I know Ken took a lap in the boat - he had a smile on his face. LOL

I am running a Leopard 5692 1090kv on 8s. So far no problems. I did install a prop that is three sizes over stock, I was so excited to see what it would do. I am using a Garmin for the max speed.

the stock motor mount dimensions are 4x2x1. does this mean im sol with the ose 2028 mount?

well, i received the 5698 835kv motor/300a hv esc/ beefy sweet looking motor mount but unfortanately the motor mount is about half an inch wider than the stock motor mount. im sending it back.

is this hull that horrible that theres barely any info about it? i mean , im still going to build this sexy beast regardless.... its just so quiet here about it.
