Steve, how do you make these liquid cooled ? Can you just solder brass tubes on the cooling fins or use SV cooling plates ? Do you still have any ?

You cut out a aluminum block and run tubing in and out of the block.

You can mount a cpu 12 volt 50mm fan on it. This was a HV controller simular to this one with two heat sinks. Used some short metal screws to mount them. I series up the fan motors for 8S voltage. It worked great.

Buy Evercool 50x50x10mm 3 Pin Tachometer Ball Bearing CPU Fan-EC5010M12CA from Coolerguys online store at best price. DC Fan Size: 50x50x10mm, Bearing Type: Tachometer Ball Bearing

This controller is 38mm wide. Here is a 12V 40 mm fan.

Get your Scythe Mini Kaze 40mm fan from Coolerguys. We have the best selection of high quality computer fans and accessories for you to choose from.

I bought the little outrunner with a 30 amp mystery controller. When I hook the esc up and hold the throttle, the motor revs up and then slows to a stop. I'm not sure if it is broken or I am doing something wrong. The setup procedure isn't making sense to me. Any help would be appreciated.
                Thanks

I used metal screws. Ground off the sharp tips and screwed them in between the cooling fins. I also cut some air exit slots. Connected the wires directly to the the controller source battery wires on 4S. I like that it keeps cooling the controller while you are getting it back to the bench, until you pull the battery leads.

Made a real easy and cheap cooling solution.

A single fan. Use the red and black wires coming from the fan. Connect them directly to the controller input wires coming from the batteries. Works for 4S voltage.

I was running 8S and wired two fans in series and tied them directly to the battery leads on the controller.

...have a quick question regarding temperatures for this Mystery 200a ESC. If im running a FDM 9XL, 4s1p 5500mah, x640 what safe temp range should i be expecting to be operating in for the ESC, Motor and Lipos? Also were is the best place to take temp readings from the ESC, Motor and lipos?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.
