Again, what happened to the guy that started this thread, did he figure out the zip tie, heart attack after getting the boat? I hope he doesn't just start plugging things in, joking aside he didn't quite have a grasp on hooking things up. I would hate to see him smoke this boat like he did to his new sparten. Inevitable any ways I suppose.

      Hi.
There are/were 3 Zondas running here with twins.
Each have had Cf reinforcing laid throughout the internal of the transom .. also across the floor pan where stingers and engine mounts go.
This is in both the Fg and Cf versions.
All seams need additional Fg/Cf tape else they will split under stress (read that as roll over or an oopsie )
2 users here at OSE run these locally.. Jamie and Borgie
Im in Sunny South Australia, btw

Time to retire from this thread to keep current sanity level. A separate thread for each would help sort out who's who and what is going on. It's an interesting boat and I would like to see more.

I'm not getting into other peoples build like that. You pic them out. I'm happy with how my boats are designed and as I get better at building boats I will share them. Knocking other peoples builds is wrong. I say unwanted or need weight goes into some of the boats on this forum is in good taste as opinions go. I'm no head hunter. You should try it some time!

So that is good advise! I have plans of beefing up the stinger mount and seam tape I will do also thank you. I have beefed up the stinger mount from in and outside of the hull so that is done. I haven't installed seam tape I will need to look into it so that I do it right. Again thanks.

I just really hope the other Zonda owners out there that have been following this have the common sense to look for another opinion and search around to find some already successful builds to base there upgrades on. It's fine to do whatever pleases you to your boat but others are now following and plan on copying you or being on the bus as the one fellow said. Scary stuff

Every thread he posts in becomes chaotic for some reason. I don't know why

It's Ok that he does his own thing but when other new members get on board with his plans, whatever they are it's time to say something before the end up dissapointed with a fried boat and huge repair bill.

This resin works wonders. I tape newspaper around hull and cut fiber cloth mat to size. I painted what I could see and dropped in mat. Then paint over. I then let it dry and pour resin into the hull I added enough hardener for quick cure. I turned the hull in circle's so resin would roll around on everything. I did this 2 times. Seems are covered, good to go and heavier. I then dis this to my other boats and thy feel so firm solid.

The slower the cure resin/hardener you use the stronger it is. Fast cure hardener has a tendency to catalysts / heat up too much. This leads to twisting or making imperfections in your hull. Just be careful and what epoxy did you use

Was a bee's dick away from 90mph during the run before this ...
Underwater 3 weeks before it bobbed up and found by a boat friendly local
Both packs are gone ( one missing, one rooted )...
Rx and gps also gone out the side.
ESC and motors after a few days here in ultrasonic bacth are good to go !
Corrosion-x is damn good gear :

needs a bit of glue and maybe ..
