Ummm... I think we know who you are talking about here, and passing on the INFORMATION about a product and it's positive points is NOT being "bias'd" towards a product... I'm simply providing information on something I know... I didn't say it was better... I didn't say something else was bad... I simply provided the details...

If you read a little more carefully my posts that are "all over this forum"... You'll find that's how I conduct myself. I don't think I ever "compare" one to another, or try to elevate Pro Boat products above anyone elses... I provide information, technical help, and performance advice, and let the users decide.

That's what I did here, and I'll continue to do it. If I happen to mention our products being "better" than another, it will generally be in the form of a race win, or a simple compare/contrast of the details and data.

Some may have a problem with that, but so be it. I'm not here "pushing" anything... I'm here to provide what I know and try to grow an FE community, and hopefully get some more people out there RACING... that's really what my participation is all about here. If that bothers you, I'm sorry...

So for the boats suggested that still require a radio, radios cost about $40?

The Impulse 26 RTR I posted above comes with a Spektrum MR200 RX and a ProBoat (Spektrum) 2.4Ghz single model radio...

Nope... it would have to have the power system swapped out...

There are a couple guys on this forum from over in that exact area. PhotoHoward and AlanN

Way back when I went over an ran my boat with them and got lots of advice.

Dont buy a boat simply on looks. By it on people reviews and experiences.

That exceed someone else posted is supposedly a good boat. The Pursuit is well known also to be a good boat. You COULD run it with included motor. Its also fairly easy to upgrade it as well.

And radio gear. You can pick up a good 2.4 GHz radio for $20 + shipping. The better one is $40ish.

                              Kent55,

I'll go pick up the SuperVee27R in a few hours and take some pics and post here. If you like it it's yours. I can also throw a few misc items that I dont use anymore that'll work for the SV27, whatever I can find. If you decide on something else, no worries I'll post it under the for sale thread if anyone else wants it. It's really good that you came here before you made a purchase. You'll get a ton of info and get off to a good start in the hobby. I've seen many people just go and buy something and end up spending 2x, even 3x as much just to get where they could've been if they made an informed decision. Good Luck my friend.

This will actually be my second boat...but I am definitely an extreme newbie. This is similar to what my last boat was. I had the OLDER (smaller motor) version though. I think it was a 370 motor. I only had it about 2 months.

So this time I want to up the performance and speed from that.
