    Hey k.r , your avatar looks like atlas van lines exiting the rooster tail turn behind belle isle. It's just a guess.

      Magnum, i got it from nitrorcx.com, was a gasser, bought it without the engine.

                  i`d need one if i was going to race . but unless some of the members here live a bit closer this boat may never tangle with any other .it`s kinda a shame but.....??

                    If the big 3 pound 2028 is going to be back near the current stuffing tube location you will need to put the batts way forward............i wish i had moved my motor forward a couple inches, but I have six 3s 5000 batts way up in the cockpit to offset it and get the cog up. It'll just be easier if its farther forward but it will still work....................

                    Here's my battery area.........4 fit neatly into the old gas tank tray.

                      i`ve heard these boats are on the light side up front while under way . the only way i can move the motor up a few inches is to extend the coupler , i`m not convinced that will be a good idea . is it ?

                          You can extend the stuffing tube and use a longer flexdrive. I may go to that myself one day.............but its workin' good as it is.

                            X646/3, ABC 1816/3, x648 or P235. That's on 10S1P with a Castle 2028 and 14 oz. of lead in the left front sponson.
