I guess what I was trying to say was if the rules are not clear about what you can and cannot run in a particular class, how do you propose to bring in new blood?
Hell I have been racing nitro for years now. I can take my stock or mod tunnel and run anywhere in the country without a single problem. But trying to find out what "Spec" as far as P Tunnel is, has done nothing but give me a headache and wonder why I even thought about it in the first place.
I was under the impression that "P-Spec Tunnel" was the equivalent of nitro's "20 Stock Tunnel". For that assumption, I'm sorry if I'm wrong.
I was looking at it from the viewpoint that it should be relatively easy to put together a Spec Tunnel as I thought it was roughly a "stock" (as far as named motors and esc's) class. I'm finding that that is not the case.
I think the biggest thing I have a problem with is that the way it stands now WTC wants you to run this, Impba says you can run that (for now...). Namba is the same.
I travel anywhere from Florida to S.C. multiple times a year to race Namba and Impba events and love it. But if I gotta have different equipment for each race, just getting into FE, then who are we really looking out for. The new guy just starting out in FE, or the FE vets who just don't want to buy any new proposed "Spec" stuff?
As Darin Stated:
To me, the key word in his statement above is "already"
I Don't mind if I have to run only AQ stuff, or if I can go out and get the latest Castle and hottest motor of the week. But unlike the guys who bought stuff Knowing it may not be legal later and are now fighting to make the rules fit them, I just want to know what I need to race and be legal anywhere. Yet still be competitive.
And not be one of the ones who "already invested money" and have to change later.
Not shouting or starting anything... I just wanted to be informed
Darin and Doug, thanks. You guys have explained all I need to know.
Peace Out...

ANYONE, who has already invested money into this class, KNEW from the start that this WAS NOT a "LEGAL" NAMBA, or IMPBA class. They took that risk of knowing that, once a set of rules were actually decided on, some of their equipment may have to be changed to conform.
