Laddie, that is over the top for that ESC, in my humble opinion....nice set up though.

Turnigy120 + 180 need external BEC on 6S due Vregulation issues
The esc will last longer... and not heat so fast

T180 is really marginal for the setup you have ( not the best choice )

I will use external BEC for them, also on 5S.
Yes on 6S the T180 is probably over the edge, even with the extra ETTI capasitor bank.
I am not worried about blowing up a couple of T180's as I have 4 of them.
I will make a fire proof box or cover for them to prevent damage to the hull so.
What I am more worried about is if they take out other parts.
I guess I need to find out the hard way
I have one Schulze 40.160WK V16, and if I had another one that would be my first choice.
Not sure what other esc's to choose without breaking the bank.
Suggestions for other esc's are welcome.
Anyway, any run on 6S must be short, as it will probably heat up the motors quite well.

Sell you T180s in the swap shop. They will move very VERY fast. Their a hot item on the SS. Take that cash and get yourself some swordfish 240HV's. http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...ef-sword-240hv

                Agreed
                Sell T180's
                Sell Schulze
Buy 2 x Swordfish 240HV ... will withstand much more use and abuse than T180. and 2xcost less than Schulze !

                Totally recommend

                1950/5 .. holy crap !

I have 6 T180/Seaking 180's... I've used them on 6s plenty... no issues... and very very good esc's.... hence why the go so good on the swap shop...... not saying they are good for this setup... probably are cutting it close.... just saying keep them for other projects and don't sell... if you do they will go quick for a reason.... and the Schulzes as far as I am concerned is the only esc I would run on 12s..... as its a up to 14s esc.... so don't sell that one either, you may need it someday..LOL...

Thank you for your opinions guys.
I am not planning to sell any of the T180's and certainly not the 40.160
Lots of other projects to use them in.
Steven is out of the Swordfish 240HV. Maybe I need to check with him when he expect to have them back in stock.

I have a well used t-180 that has a dozen 4s runs on a castle 1515 on 4s. Just put it in a 41-inch mono with a leopard 5692(1340kv) on 6s with an rx pack and 452 prop. 5-runs so far with no issues.
