It's not, I have a Stiletto, that HK boat doesn't even look close.

Check Darin's pictures of the Stiletto in the Proboat forum.

That said I wish I would have bought this HK boat instead, that way I wouldn't be feeling this bad about chipping the gelcoat on the beautiful Stiletto.

I was actually thinking of buying another Stiletto hull... It just looks THAT good.

    I need help...

If you think that's a good deal, I got some beach property in Kansas we can sell ya. Nothing against Steve, that's what the crap sells for.

HK's got a new boat and someone made the mistake of saying it's a proboat copy. Then you guys pile on and state that you must spend $150 for a ESC and Motor? I have two new HK boats that I am happy with and the total costs is less than the 1 Proboat Outboard. Oh and my boats are running on Turnigy Nano Tech Batteries too.

Will they win a NAMBA race? Who cares....that's what I say.

Who's talking Aquacraft combo here? Say you buy this boat. Then it handles poorly. Then, most will try to upgrade the power. Which will make it handle more poorly. Even if it handles OK, most people WILL try to put more power in it. Then, driveline failures. Not to mention what can happen to these hulls when the cheap element exposed speedo gets soaked. After all that, even if I'm not racing, and running by myself, I'd spend $350.00 on the Stiletto and get the quality gear that has support from the manufacturer and several helpful FE gurus on this forum.

In other words. I'd rather have one great boat, than five turds. Or ten for that matter.

                      Good for you

Good for you that's your freedom to do so. I just used the Aquacrap combo as an example of way too much for what you get.

i agree with this guy....the stiletto is not the first tunnel hull ever created. why not just say the stiletto is a copy of something else. ridiculous

You guy's are getting a little off track. Look at the first post again please. The Stiletto is a quality, orrectly propotioned tunnel. This is a cheap unengineered toy. It is not a copy at all. Also, the AQ combo is a very versatile and usable combo. Look at how many different boats have proven to run well with it. Oh well. No use beating a dead horse. Have fun with your junk.

Steve - I believe the correct spelling and pronunciation is Aquacraft. Just exactly what did Aquacraft do to you that causes you to degrade them in your posts?

I am not the biggest fan of Aquacraft products but I can tell you that they have had a very positive impact on our racing and sport hobby. I know some of the Aquacraft guy's personnally I can vouch for the fact that they have our interests in mind when developing new products, etc. for our market.

I would suggest, that if you, or anyone else can impact our hobby more positively than Aquacraft or even Proboat, that it would be wise to take a seat on the sideline and listen and not speak.

Wonder what their prices are as they don't even say what brands they have and what the cost is.

At least AQ puts a descripton and price on their products for all to see.
