HK cpy of the Stiletto 29?

Hobby-king's version of the mighty Stiletto 29 at 1/2 the price?

Sure, the ESC is lower amp at only 50 and servo setup seems to be a bit more simple and probably uses a cheaper motor.

    Any feedback?

Link didn't work. Had a message of "only available to vip memebers" I had to logon to view. The stilleto looks a lot nicer and Im sure it runs better, but this is a very interesting price.

If you "swarm" it is only $97 + shipping. THis would make the boat 1/4 the price and shipping cost is about the taxes I'd have to pay on a $400 boat.

I do agree that Stiletto 29 seems better finished, this boat also seems to be a bit shorter, It could be a different hull or maybe measured with-out the motor attached?

      HK:
      Length: 750mm
      Width: 280mm
      Height: 200mm

      Stiletto 29:
      Length: 765mm
      Beam: 279mm

Not even in the same REALM! Take a look at how "chunky" that hull is... I'm guessing it's not even close to the same size even. There are NUMEROUS reasons I can see right off the bat why that hull would dissapoint. I'll summarize by saying that it's a TOY boat, and not a race boat design.

Size seems to be similar but I wanted your expert view on it.
Seemed rather fast to get a copy, it could be from the same source that G-Freaks get their stuff.

You need to take a closer look... it's not even CLOSE to the same hull. Geometry isn't even close either.

Get one, if you think it's what you want, but it's going to disappoint you. There is WAY more to "geometry" than just length, width, and what size motor they put in there...

                  I agree :)
I was just wondering if it is a rip of your hull or some other generic hull they sourced. Looks like some generic.

I got the same email from HK, for that price the boat has to be junk or great for your 6 year old to run in the swimming pool.

Not yet, in order to get the price you need 6 people to sign up for the swarm sale. As soon as that happens it will be $97 instead of $129.

If you are on hobbyking, check out the link I posted. If you want it, I will join your swarm as well.
