        Here you go :

        Left : Turnigy 4S 35C 5000 (with 25+ runs)

        Middle : Hyperion G3 4S 35C with (20+ runs) $ 169.95 retail

        Right : Turnigy Nano 4S 45C/90C (first run) $ 75.99 retail ( + shipping)

Not realy apples to apples because the nanos were brand new & the other two were used. Draw your own conclusions ; right NOW the nanos maintained a higher overall voltage, which indicates a higher prop speed I would think, thus higher top speed. Discuss as you wish !

Yup; when the test was done, using the same M445 for testing all three, I put on my "special" race prop & she really ran fantastically !! I think the nanos are a good hit but time will tell.

I just bought 2 of the new 45c Hyperions to try, but I don't have an eagle tree or any other test methods other than run the snot out of them.
I was using the turnigy 30c 5000mah and they didn't hold up well.

Did your boat appear faster using the Nanos. Eagle Tree gps would be helpful.

Tony, keep up the good work. The more numbers we have on these lipo packs the less subjective we can be about whether they are "good" or "bad".

Here's the answer : [ The original run at 53.6 mph was done with a fresh set of Hyperion 2S G3's in series]

I have to say that this is THE hot setup for max thrills and spec racing at a moderate price. My FE 30 has ONLY UL-1 internals; speed control, motor, servo, servo mount, drive cable, Tx & Rx. The boat handles so well at this speed [WFO in the turns] that it's a pleasure to drive, and nothing ever needed fiddling with once it came off the setup board.
