      Sorry Andy no one in CT or ERCU is running Astro's any more and I don't have any astro gear left.

        Come on guys. Brushed or brushless doesn't matter on burning things up. We all know motors dont burn themselves up, the users push them to a point of failure. You can burn any motor if pushed to hard.
        My post's point was that a 700 motor raced today is simply not competitive in price or performance.

        My 'Spec' motors have been running fine for over a year while giving higher speeds than the 700s no matter how I propped the latter. It wasn't overall heat that toasted the 700s, it was brush/comm damage.
