Which one of these would you suggest as a stock setup, the ebay one says it has uprated hardware but the astec models one runs a seaking 120amp esc and metal prop?

Good question. i think it says at the bottom of the ebay one it has upgraded hardware, thats good and has a servo thats good,,,
Now the aztec one has a 120esc and brass prop..think the ebay one maybe better but after shipping alittle more expensive to,,huummComment

The thing is i already have a servo and a progamming card for the seaking ecs so im kinda leaning towards the astec one. It doest really look any different to the HK one on ebay!Comment

Now it takes a standerd size servo, i had a hitec mini servo ready for it but wont fit unless i make something.. Then you got the better hardware to, think everyone says the factory hardware dont hold up but i cant afford new Dw right now so im gonna run mine with what it has.. I think aztec did pritty well for me so its up to you..Comment

They will look the same it's a 540 xl can, the difference is whats inside (number of turns) lower # in your case 6 means less torque higher top-end, higher number of turns means less top-end more torque. My 7xl and 11xl look just like both your motors just different turns. With lower turn motors you may want to try a smaller prop, that way the motor can really wind out, lower kv or higher turn motors can swing a bigger prop. The lower # the turns the higher the KV and usually less voltage it needs. You want to stay around 35k RPM. Rpm is the kv rating x the volts. So your 2075kv x 22.2volts (6s) = 46065 unloaded RPM's WAY high. Hopefully this info helps. So to your question your stock motor on 14.8volts(4s) = 30710 rpm. Your best would be the 9xl you have on 5s. 1598kv * 18.5volts (5s) = 35113 rpm. When wiring 5s take a 2s and 3s with the same mah rating and same c rating (try for same manufactor as well) adn wire is series or take 2 x 5s and wire in parallel.Comment

Ok so after 2 weeks of waiting finally received my genesis from Hk. First impressions of the look. I found no defects in hull and only a few runs in the paint other than that I am really happy. I won't get a chance to run her till tuesday or wednesday though.

Im well impressed with mine, i got mine from the guy who sells them on ebay and it has the octura flex, its so easy to take out and grease. ive only run it a couple of times on a single 3s but its not bad (waiting on my 2x 2s) next job is to change the esc and prop.Comment
