as long as i need qualety and service for a good price i shop OSE. if i need batteries or disposible items i turn to china.
my biggest reasons for shopping in china at the moment though is the fact that the $ is no longer worthless AND shipping from usa is taking more and more of the total price (like $42 to ship a neu 1521 and that alone sometimes make me look to other countryes to shop)

but the service here at OSE can almost not be beaten :)

            3) All items are packaged well. This may sound crazy, but I've received more than a few orders from companies with things swimming, I mean banging around the box. Those items needed returning.
I must say my last few orders have been packed extremely well. If you have a small bubble wrap shortage in the northeast, I can send some back.

Nothing more annoying that ordering from a shop that just tosses stuff in a box.

Well done on the packing & shipping aspect. I can count and predict within a day when I'll get my order and know that it will arrive as shipped.

              Steve,

              You missed one.

....helps promote the hobby by supporting races.

Thank you very much sir. OSE has been a major contributer to many races that I've attended. I for one really appreciate it. Actual racers are such a tiny little segment of the hobby. That fact that you help us out at all is just...... awesome.

I struggle with the import thing. I have a line on some new products that I need a distributer for. They aren't produced here. Aren't even available here. Not that I've seen at least. I have the samples. They're performing well so far. Craftsmanship is fantastic. Do I persue it further? ugh

Conflicts with my buy it from the guy down the street mentality.
