By me looking at that chart i believe that my boat is heavy seen as though its a 37.5" mono hull with 2x 6s 5000mah batterys on board which makes it fairly heavy, do you agree?

For a heavy setup it says to use a 1521 1.5d although at only 4s, im running 6s?

I think a 1527 1y is the go here as i can run it on 6s and its a competition motor.

Can someone tell me what the 1.5y means and the 2y etc etc?

I just got my 1527 1y in and its a large motor............running in a 45" mono on 6s.............ran it hard yesterday, came in at 82* on the can and 96* on the rear bearing,.................quite happy with that, much better motor than a 580L. Its over 100mm long and 40mm dia..........pic for comparison

                              Just did then.

By the sounds of it they are a fairly hard motor to get your hands on specially if your in Australia like me.
