What Feigao 580l motor for a 37.5" Mono

    Hello

Iam wanting to purchase a motor for my 37.5" Mono hull although not to sure what to get i know i want a Feigao 580l because of the price but i dont want a motor that will completely kill my Seaking 180a esc. The boat will be running on 2x 22.2v 6s 5000mah Lipos in Parallel with a x460 prop.

So i want it to be quick but i also want it to be reliable and not kill my ESC.

For a heavier boat do you go for something more RPM reving or less RPM reving.

The higher the RPM does it have more up and go or top end....?

Im guessing a 12l would be slower then a 9l?

Also would 12G wire be suited for my needs or should i go for the 10G?

    Thanks

You'll want torque, but 37.5" isn't really all that big... Target 25,000 to 30,000 RPM and you should be fine. I'd think something in the 1100-1200 KV range would be about right... Even for racing... Going to depend on what your planning on doing with the boat, but I think this range is safe even for Sport Boating... Would FLY!

a x460 will be too big with any of those motors, and for that hull.

An X460 is a pretty big prop, what ESC are you using?

I think that 180 amp will go poof on aggresive1's application

If the electronics don't fail, the boat will more than likely lay on it's side under power. I sure wouldn't run a prop that large on a Feigao 580!

A seaking 180a is more then enough for that motor if you dont severely overprop it.
