Salir I see you understand me now about the fiegao. They are good sport motors. I mean My 6xl hasnt given me any problems but I have replaced the bearings.I remember you though the carbon wrap was gonna do it . Hm yeah lol. I also think that we really have to start with small props in testing and gradually work our way up. I bet a 580 would be a great motor in a light 10th scale hydro.

Im sorry Ive never owned a neu but I think thats bs. I think thats probably a terrible comparison: a 580 and a 1527 . A 580 doesnt have nearly the juice of a 1527.Any motor torque can be calculated by its kv. (KV)(KT)=1 but that has nada to do with how many amps a particular motor can efficiently pull. That all has to do with the wire, poles, etc. A lower kv motor has more torque.I think that a lower kv motor and a larger prop if possible would always be better. Just my 2 cents.

The feigao 580s have these bearings that you can by from OSE, they are spose to be better then what is originally in them.

If i still go for a Feigao iam going to get the bearings and give it a go with them. If not Neu it is 1527

My Castle/Neu 1518 1800kv motor Ran MUCH more efficiently in a 31" mono than did a Feigao 580. I believe the Feigao was 1649 kv. Both on 5s2p. Same prop. Much less heat with the Castle/Neu motor and more powerful.

When is OSE getting the next batch of Neu motors?

Whats the difference with the ZR series

I think i will be going for the Neu now 1527 1.5D with 5mm shaft, how does that sound to people?

To be honest i really dont know much about boats this is my first real proper build, i just want something that will power my boat at speeds of at least or more then 60mph "100kmh", and was hoping to order everything from OSE.

Whats the difference between the 1527 and the 1717?

Just had a quick look at one it says they are good for a 4s only setup for a boat which in my case i got 6s in parallel at 22.2v
