    I found the $30.00 Mystery here... http://cgi.ebay.com/200A-Brushless-M...d=p3286.c0.m14

Will it take 200 amps? That's the real "Mystery."

WOW.... I thought that was a feat to challenge the best of researchers... I have no idea how they can build a 200 amp ESC and make it work...

considering that CC makes about 400% profit margin, these guys just turn out more for a smaller margin. and less warranty.

Sometimes I wonder... you know when the "good ESCs" mention their amp rating and it usually goes like this 105amps constant and 210 burst of X seconds (double)...
maybe the "Copy ESCs" are just diminishing the gap, instead of telling people that the ESC is good for 105amps they say 200 but a with VERY low 210 burst rate.
If so then it would be safer to assume that the 210amps burst ESC is safe for 105amps constant and not the 200amps they market... just a thought.
                          Has that occurred to anyone?

I read an thread somewhere about testing some of these cheap esc's, they took them apart and found the same or better mosfets that castle uses and usually MORE of them, I will see if I can find the thread

WHAT! That would be a great find man...
I was telling someone about my thoughts on Chinese copies, I really believe it's a consistency issue... their production lines have to be so fast to pump out the amt they sell and to keep prices low, that they miss big time on QC... hens so many duds out there... I have a 2 chinese ESCs that have yet to fail me, and I have been using it with a 1521/1D on 4s (now on 3s) with it.

QC? you using that as a comparison when CC sends out product with bad programming and faulty boards and then takes 6 months to fix the problem. Frankly the big guys have the same issues with even their low productivity rate
