Jan, be kind it also has Atlantis in the title, you know that city that is under water! It looks like a knock off, of a brand I can not remember.

Not trying to put it down, I did not even see the "Atlantis" there... it was just something that struck me odd.. also, if it's a boat design why are the instructions referring to a Stick style Tx... all I am saying Douggie is that it's easy to say it's for boats... but are they really? Again, I am not dissing it, i buy Chinese stuff to test and some of them are pretty decent.:::::::::::::::. It's NEVER fast enough! .:::::::::::::::Comment

Remember, it is a city that has never been found. The copycats in the Asian ESC world, just amaze me. Out the front door goes the good product, out the back door?? as one member stated in an earlier post, or is it just bad copy infringement of a patented design?

patented design? kinda like a phone or what? I dont think I have ever seen a Patent number on any ESC or from any esc company. Frankly from what Ive seen recently with the KNOWN companies why should be spend hundreds for a product that might work and takes months and months for the company to repair. Flyermate is the company name.
Im on a very tight budget and will have to sell some other stuff in order to buy one anyone need an FDM 7XL?an RC rock crawler lost in a sea of boat parts.........Comment

I have the non waterproofed 100A version, I completely moded it for boat application, it seem to be just like a Mystery one, I got confirmation from another OSE member that it has the same programming procedure as the Mystery200, honestly I'm very happy with this one, don't have any comparison with other brand though, but it works very well on my 29" DF copy, handle easily 100A+ burst as far as I could record with my EagleTreeLogger!
To me it is nothing but a relabeled Mystery, no way I'll pay 75$ as the Mystery200 costs about 30$!Comment

What I like the most is the main picture. The sticker that just wont stick well.

Might also try the ez-run series by hobbywing, which is seaking as well, same company. I have been told by several other 8th scale buggy owners, that tore a 80a, and 150a escs apart and claimed them to be THE seaking 180a escs, without the water cooling, just a fan added. here is a link to one of the reviews/information on the 80 and 150a versions (seaking rebadged with fan) http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/showthread.php?t=18727
post #9 makes these claims.
I am trying one in my next build. I think I have a big enough air mass inside my newest hydro, that the fan should work ok.Last edited by yurkanip; 09-28-2009, 05:24 PM.Comment
