I have spoken with my sales rep at Swang Hobby and suggested they water cool the Atlantis esc's. They are taking it under consideration.

        Yep I got one.

Is there anyway to use a program card on the Atlantis?

I was telling someone about my thoughts on Chinese copies, I really believe it's a consistency issue... their production lines have to be so fast to pump out the amt they sell and to keep prices low, that they miss big time on QC... hens so many duds out there... I have a 2 chinese ESCs that have yet to fail me, and I have been using it with a 1521/1D on 4s (now on 3s) with it.
                  Just my .02
That has also been my experience. I have 4 of the Mystery units I water cooled, two 100 A and tow 200A and have had no failures running them in Mean Machines equipped with 540 XL and 580L motors. Eagle Tree Logger shows I am pulling over 120 A. I think the key is GOOD water cooling....at least that has been my experience.

I have a German friend who is a retired electronics engineer that spent his whole career working on designing high performance switching power supplies. He is trying a unique concept....use the controller portion of an inexpensive mystery controller (the 80, 100 and 200 A Mystery ESC's use the identical controller board), and use the output to control the latest generation of high current MOSFETS. There are new Benchmark Mosfets that have just been released that provide 60% more current in the same size package. By using the larger T0-220 size package for the MOSFET (that can handle 240 continuous Amps), you can get much better heat sinking thus more efficient water cooling.

I will keep the forum posted as to the progress on this project. In the mean time my Mystery ESC's seem to continue running smoke free.

Sounds like an interesting project. Good to hear somebody out there is trying to improve on the speed controllers. Right now, they are definitely the 'weak link" in FE!

Agreed, but it will take someone with his experience in switching power supplies to attempt to pull it off. This is certainly NOT a DIY project. I hope some of the mfg's start to use these new Ultra-high power MOSFETS

Jeff, I do not have any pistol type transmitters. Mine are all the conventional type with the dual sticks.
