    CONTINUED...

After the dunk-test fully equiped, it will be revealed if more floatation is needed. There's plenty of realestate between the cowl and the bridgedeck. One of the reasons why I did not mount the ESC's etc. there. I can put a huge chunk of foam there.

Hard to tell without the canopy opening in place for reference, but I hope you've left yourself enough room for the batteries to be slid forward.

Lots of room. With 6500mAh packs (the biggest I think I'll be using), cg tested good with them as far back as I could get them, without touching the ESC's. With smaller packs like 5000mAh, lots of room for sliding to front.

BTW folks, I found a perfect spot for running these wee boats. Having done that, I'm going nuts not to be able to go play with them. Might have to get a ready to run ProBoat or something, to take care of the wait.

Where did you source the small diameter carbon braid? I've been looking for something like that to do exactly that same waterline wrap.

I love the silicone hose form used for the barbs. Great idea.

I saw a fella using pieces in place of zipties, on another thread. It gave me the idea for the mudding template.

I think that with the black grids it would be much more realistic.
