I want to thank you for this highly detailed build. My 310 is built but not rigged and finished.
Paul helped me with my build, specially the sponsons. Hopefully they are paralel and straight. I will have to check them when back at apartment. I think mine are o.k. thanks to Paul.
The KlassKote info was so welcomed since I have some stored away that I bought in 2014, hopefully it's still usable, you think? Since I don't have a compressor to spray, your brush technique is very welcomed!!! I will give it a try. If it works I can get some orange for my rig. I just have white now.
Thank you so much. I will be reading it over a few more times.

Your welcome. It's good to share experience and ideas, we all benefit when that happens. I learn so much this way too. Paul has also been a great help to me...
I have a little bit of white K & B Super Poxy paint that I used for many years(wasn't enough left for this project and I had no other colors). So I bet your 2014 Klass Kote is still good. Test a small mix to see if it hardens.
Here's a tip on brushing the Klass Kote. It says to let it activate in the cup for 30 minutes before using. I found it would not flow as well towards the end because brushing takes longer. I've been getting great results waiting 20 minutes, then I start using it. It flows better and hardens the same.
I'm using these 1" wide & 1/2" wide bristle brushes from my hardware store. They are around a dollar each. They work great, then I toss them...
The transfer paper goes sticky side to sticky side of the low stick blue tape. I cut thru my computer printed letters and the blue tape and transfer paper.
The stack is taped to a sheet of paper folded in half. Makes for a nice clean cut...
