Back bay is done except for trimming after it cures. Second coat of epoxy is on and brushed up the sides to the tape.

Front bay left to do yet. Time consuming, but I like the results...

Some more progress and stuff coming together. Here's my quick change motor mount on the flattest part of my counter. Epoxying it all together.

Second pic shows the stack of brass tubing for holding stuffing tube mount alignment...

Final dry fit with tape marking alignment for a clean shot at placing the assembly.

I'm placing it with epoxy applied only to the components that stay in the boat...

i noticed the edges of your CF are not CA'd. on my buggy chassis and A-frames it's suggested to to super glue all carbon fiber edges so they won't fray or separate
Your Motor Install is Super Duper Clean
i bet your at the point of "Dang i'm half way there"
this is where i get kind of sad in my builds no matter if it's my trains, or just something for the house, it's though the journey is almost over, but wait i'll build something else, HA!
You do a very methodical job. This Rig should Fly.

Thanks Stillwet... It got to be a bit too much building the motor mount, but I like be able to oil my motors. I'm pretty happy with it in the end.

I'm not sure what you mean about using CA on the CF edges so it doesn't fray. Before applying it, or after? That's what the tape was doing before applying the CF. If you mean afterwards, it's all epoxied in now.

                          Asking to learn...
