    My new 34" mono build

sold my kbb34 and I only sold it to build another a little different. One reason is I wanted the honey comb inlay and the other is I wanted to paint it before it was complete. Yes I didn't feel like taking it all apart to paint it. Other than those two things and some other minor tweaks, it will be the same. It was a beast anyway, so why change it? I did order a custom y wind 1670kv 1527 neu for it...the other one had a 1500kv...so maybe it'll have a bump in speed. Here's the plan:

    Neu 1527 1670kv 8mm shaft
    Mbp collet
Speed master billet 1.5" x 2" trim tabs
    Carbon fiber turn fins
    Flooded tube with strut
Same rudder as before 4" I think
Sf300 lite (I have a 25035 mgm for now till the sf300's come back in stock
    Radio post green servo
    Carbon fiber steering rod
Billet rod end from seacraft via Keith Bradly
Abc prop (yes I've gone abc prop crazy...I bet I've got close $500 in abc props lmao)

Well I'm actually building two of these at once. One is mine and one is a partial build.

    Got the inlay done....

Got the motor tacked in place. I'll epoxy it tonight. That's a 1521 for mockup purposes.

My speed master trim tabs came in. I swear I think I ordered them Friday and they are here already. Well shipping has always been fast from speed master.

These things are sexy (I'm sure most of you know that!)

It's funny you say that because I was going to name the thread something like 34" beast mono build or something like that...but I didn't wanna sound cheesy. Lol

I've got the mount done. It's drying. This is the hardest and most time consuming part. I've got one shot to make sure it's perfect. Tomorrow I can start rolling. The battery tray tabs to raise them a touch are already done. Flood tube is pretty much made, I'll go over the assembly of it. It will have two sealed ball bearings to support the flex at the motor side. I found a sf300 lite Esc so its on the way too. Here's the mount. I'm using jb weld and I heat it up on low heat to flow it out. Feather with a paint brush. Let dry an hour then pull the tape to reveal some nice lines.....
