    DF pirate 35 build

Maybe. You might be rite I dunno.
I've just kinda lost interest. It's a nice boat and all, but it's kinda sad seeing it sit there.

That is a great build man. Best of luck at whatever you do, I kind of admire your way of thinking and living. There is always another build, now it is biking! Why not? If I hadn't spent my money on the tunnel, I would buy yours even though I am no longer into monos nowadays.
I think we all just want to see you run that boat more, lol... it looks good in the water.
      Cheers!

P.s. I hit the reply too soon, this is a half working Samsung Galaxy pad, man, everything is delayed.

        Thanks tim.
We'll see what happens. I'm def enjoying biking more these days. And the exercise is great!
Maybe I'll hold onto it, it's not like I have to sell, but the option is there.

              First build!

Well I've been reading this thread for a couple weeks now.... Love how it came out! So I ordered the dfp 35" hull this weekend. This will be my first build! Excited and nervous! Ran off-road truck for 20 years, and modified a mg29 v2 I the last year that does runs mid 50's... Time for a mono!!!

I'm sure though this thread was pretty thorough I'll still have some questions along the way! I've noticed the sf240 is out of stock atm... I'll check eBay I suppose

Steven gets that stuff in pretty frequently, may want to send him a message and ask when he will have more.

And here is Dana's boat, in the hands of it's happy new owner, my buddy Mike. Mike had made a few runs with his Mystic before he grenaded it into the rocks, but was finally ready to get his feet wet again, so this one was perfect for him. The wind really picked up, so we stayed with a very conservative 5s/445 setup. I couldn't believe how well this thing handles the heavy chop. Nice job on the build Dana.

Think I'm gonna go castle 1717 with the sf200.... For 6s2p setup.
Getting hardware list together this week, which will basically mimic dana's setup, I love those trim tabs a lot, looks sexy. Hope to out in the order by next week. Stopping by west marine this weekend to grab the west systems 105/207 and cf fabric.

hey guys, silly question but what size brass tubing and flex cable should I use for this? What size did you use? Also what size cooling tube ? 1/4" or? Thanks!

I used 1/4 brass stuffing tube and .187 cable. That's what you need.
On my cooling line I used a mix of 3 and 4mm kintec hose because all the fittings for everything are different sizes. The 3mm came in handy connecting to the nue cooling can which had rather small fittings.
